Beth I hear you there... I will pray.
[Tehachapi Grandma] thank you for that verse (I also needed that one) and I guess I can count myself as being under "the other loved ones" category you mentioned so thank you for your prayers ;)

You know I think of you often throughout the days and the nights and that I am praying for you whenever the Lords brings thoughts of you. And a frequent prayer for you is for the strength to do those things that a mother of eight needs to do. This morning I thought of you when I read Psalm 138:3: "In the day when I cried thou answerest me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul." KJV's "strengthenedst" just adds layers to the word strength; but it is strength in the soul, way beyond the physical strength for which I had been praying!

Now I will pray, not only for you but for my entire family and for other loved ones, for strength in our souls!

Love,
Mom

Thank you! How are you doing now?

Part of me feels that I have nothing to complain about. I have all my limbs. I have NOT been hit with cancer or the other "big" diseases. But it does get discouraging when I look at how much I have to do and how little I'm able to accomplish. However, I need to keep trusting the Lord and praising Him for what I CAN do!

It is amazing how much we take our health for granted; I was in excellent health/shape before cancer beaned me at age 40 followed by a muscle disease at 42. I have watched Nick Vujicic before and he is an awesome witness (not to mention a big help in putting your own trials into perspective :o) I hope that you and your son both feel better soon!
